PRINTING SERVICE Do you need help getting your model aircraft drawings plotted? I can plot your CAD drawings full size. Basically my plotter will do drawings 35" X 50 feet and anywhere in between. If you would like to send a drawing off for plotting I can work with Autocad 14 - 2000 .DWG or .DXF. I work in DesignCad so I can also plot .DCD files.
Your drawings will be treated as strictly CONFIDENTIAL and will never be shared with anyone! But I will enjoy seeing them. :)
I can also print any image file you may have. For instance if you found a great 3-view on the web and wanted it printed to a certain size. Let me know the wingspan you desire and I can print it to that size.
If you want to get your CAD drawing plotted make sure it is completely done. Check it over several times for accuracy. Keep the width at a maximum of 35 inch's. Measure the area to see how many square feet it is to estimate your plotting costs.
Costs for this service are $0.50 USD per square foot. If your only ordering one drawing 24" X 36" typical mailing costs in Canada are about $1.50- $2.00 Canadian. Postage and shipping costs are extra and will be confirmed with the post office before plotting. Payment can be made via PayPal or personal checks addressed to Roger Winger.
This is a 3-view I downloaded and scaled to fit a Vasa 55 fan unit. Notice the yardstick to the left. You can see that this printer does a very nice job. A future project? Maybe.
Here are just a few samples of the best plans collected from the internet. If you would like any of these plans printed or have another plan you would like printed full-size just let me know. This model has a 43 inch wingspan and looks to be a pretty straight forward build. Should turn into a nice model.
This model has a 31 inch wingspan and is to be powered with a Speed 400 upto a high performance brushless like a Mega 16/15/3. My kind of airplane!
This model has a 61 inch wingspan and has been a favorite of mine for many years. On my must build list.
This model was drawn with an 84 inch wingspan, however the plan will not fit on my printer. I scaled the model to a 56 inch wingspan and would make a great electric powered model. This plan could be easily printed to any size down from 56 inch span. For those modellers into electrics perhaps an Ips version with a 24 inch span would be fun.
This model was has a 29 inch wingspan and is to be powered with a Speed 400 electric motor but wouldn't a brushless really make it go!
This model was has a 21 inch wingspan and is to be powered with a .049 or equivelent electric motor.
This model was has a 40 inch wingspan and is to be powered with a geared speed 280 electric motor. A "real summer evening cruiser".
This model was has a 50 inch wingspan and is to be powered with a .40-.45 engine. Mine flew great and was a real fun aircraft.
